Senior & Sunflower

I don't typically post my sessions anymore. I quietly deliver them so mom's can brag and seniors can post to insta. It's kind of nice and I love letting them pick their favorites.

I've stepped back some as a photographer. I haven't quit, I've just prioritized other areas of my business and beekeeping keeps me busy... oh and gardening, canning, art and photo classes, & chasing kids this summer... the good stuff! I truly love it all!

Clara is a pretty special senior. She is sweet and I though instead of sending off a link, I'd better share a few because the light and the girl in the flowers... you'll see! She is so fun to be around and Shelly, her amazing mamma, is a true friend I don't hang out with nearly enough. Gotta change that!

Editing photos is as just as taking them for me. This session though... just a quick sunflower session before her main session next week... made me cry happy tears at my computer. I am sending my graduate off next week to college and I realized just how fast this last year flew by.

The photos of Clara and her mom truly touched me. What a beautiful relationship and you can tell they will be BFF's, and already are becoming just that. The transition from mom to friend is gradual and beautiful. They will always be our "baby" but suddenly we can talk life friends, joke, and share stories.

Thank you Clara and Shelly, for being amazing, flexible, and just plain awesome. I love and adore you both.
